The 2026 New Mexico gubernatorial election will be held on November 3, 2026, to elect the governor of New Mexico. Democratic former secretary of the interior Deb Haaland and Republican mayor of Rio Rancho Gregg Hull are the nominees for their respective parties. Democratic incumbent Michelle Lujan Grisham is term limited and ineligible to seek a third consecutive term.
Primary elections took place on June 2. Haaland defeated county district attorney Sam Bergman in the Democratic primary with 72% of the vote. Hull defeated Doug Turner and Duke Rodriguez in the Republican primary with 47% of the vote.
