The 2026 United States Senate election in Delaware will be held on November 3, 2026, to elect a member of the United States Senate to represent the state of Delaware. Democratic incumbent Chris Coons is seeking a third full term. He is being challenged by Republican former state senator Michael Katz.
Primary elections took place on September 15. Coons won the Democratic nomination with 78% of the vote against minimal opposition. Katz, a former Democratic state senator, won the Republican nomination with 77.3% of the vote against U.S. Army War College instructor John Shulli.
Republicans have not won a Senate election in Delaware since 1994.
